A welcome thrall
a magnificent moon
amatory attentions
yodel of the loon
she captivates this tired and lonely man, holding him tenderly in her tightening but welcome thrall.
however much he pretends to resist, he willingly caves to her amatory attentions.
supernal love revives what was once declared dead and gloriously reawakens youth's cravings long ago gone dormant.. this man, of little worth and fashioned diminutive in body, is big in heart .

pointless .
pointless and a waste of time (though it is 3 o'clock in the morning) to remain in bed when the energy expended in tossing and turning can be put to better use elsewhere.
better use when i can get my mind out of the gutter and the realms of depression and despair that cater so willingly to the man held captive in his nightly horizontal prison.. i am up, thrusting myself from the uselessness of too much sleep, too much recumbence, too much nothing.. it's a given there's a force directing me beyond voluntary reflexes.
He says his feet are on the ground
Methinks he is a restless hound
That prowls the woods on moonless nights
To rid his mind of parasites
it is a stretch to call my dodgy poetry 'entertainment' but i wasn't sure where else to put it.. .

in the 1960's, when i was most active as a jehovah's witness, it was a different, more relaxed religion.
we were filled with confidence about our "truth" because we were skilled in rebuttal, overcoming objections, and we encouraged tough questions to test our mettle in the door to door work.. when an anti-dub book like "30 years a watchtower slave" was released, we all couldn't wait to read it and comment about it.it was seen as a pathetic effort at spite--never as a serious threat to our confidence in what we had.. so--what was different about the jw religion and our skillset back then from the watchtower world of paranoia and enforced loyalty today?i think i know.. we were like boxer george foreman before ali knocked him out.
we were mike tyson before buster douglas introduced his face to the canvas in that ring in japan.we were bullet proof.. not until you have a bone-shaking reckoning do you lose confidence and wonder, "wtf just happened?

the pain just made his eardrums burst
with roses he has now been cursed
stop the poetry he said
my cheeks have turned a rosey red
jws very much believe that there is an absolute truth and of course, they are the only ones who have it lol.
how about now though do you still believe that absolute truths exist?
or is everything subjective?
I live inside a pumpkin shell
or maybe deep inside a well
I look around I touch the wall
It feels like it is very tall
under a pillow there is truth
maybe if you leave a tooth

He stumbled when he saw the sky
Soon all his chips began to fly
He grabbed to try to break his fall
And crashed his head against the wall
Many stopped to wonder why
He ever tried to touch the sky
i ran across this cool video.
i think it's a parody on some recent jw video series or something.
i'm not up to date on jw news and such.
There were witnesses who couldn't wait for something like that and when they spoke of it their eyes lit up.
What do you know
Is it really John Doe
